Saratoga Racing Notebook and Invaders
Each week we follow the races and provide insight into selected races and notes on horses of interest. The weekly notebook is another addition to our reports to assist horsemen and those who wager on the races with additional insight and analysis. This week we analyze how invading horses from other tracks have performed at Saratoga thus far during the meet.
The Saratoga Summer Meet opened Friday, July 21, and we cover all the races Wednesday through Monday. We’ll be analyzing the races throughout the 40-day meet in the East Coast Handicapping Report (ECHR) looking to uncover key information with helpful hints on the horses to help you win more at the races.
*Nothing scientific about coming up with the following stats. It’s called hard work, no technology involved, just a pen and paper alongside the daily race charts. As a result, we’ve uncovered some interesting stuff, take a look:
NEGATIVE – *INVADERS FROM DELAWARE ROUTING ON THE TURF – OFF THE BOARD so far at the Meet in 14 of 15.
NEGATIVE – *INVADERS FROM CHURCHILL ROUTING ON THE TURF – OFF THE BOARD so far at the Meet in 30 of 35 races
POSITIVE – *INVADERS FROM CHURCHILL SPRINTING AND ROUTING ON THE MAIN TRACK, – IN THE MONEY in 30 of 60 races (50%).
POSITIVE – *INVADERS FROM MONMOUTH ROUTING ON THE TURF – IN THE MONEY in 6 of 12 races
POSITIVE – *INVADERS FROM LAUREL IN ALL TURF STARTS – IN THE MONEY in 7 of 15 races including 4 winners.
POSITIVE – *INVADERS FROM FINGER LAKES ON THE MAIN TRACK – IN THE MONEY in 5 of 9 races, not typical for runners coming in from this particular track, which makes these numbers interesting.
POSITIVE – *INVADERS FROM WOODBINE ON THE MAIN TRACK – IN THE MONEY in 4 of 4 races, moving from that synthetic surface to this dirt track.
